Clow Berg team selected to design Lake Vermilion State Park Trail Center
Summer 2026
Clow Berg is honored to have been selected by the Minnesota State Designer Selection Board and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources (DNR) to design a new Trail Center at Lake Vermilion-Soudan Underground Mine State Park on Armstrong Bay near Soudan, Minnesota. The project will be developed in consultation with the Bois Forte Band of Chippewa, whose ancestral lands and waters include Onamuni Zaaga-’iganiin, the Ojibwe name for Lake Vermilion, meaning "Lake with a Red Sunset Glow."
